Progress & Training Activities of RSS Technical Institute
In the current socio-economic context of the country, RSS Technical Institute has made remarkable progress in technical skill development activities. Since its establishment, the institute has been actively working to develop a skilled workforce through industry-focused technical education and professional training programs.
On 18 April 2026, the institute successfully organized its first regular assessment batch under the supervision of the NSDA (National Skills Development Authority) for the course:
Electric Installation and Construction for Management – Level 2
Among the 12 trainees who participated in the assessment, 09 trainees successfully passed, which is truly a commendable achievement for the institution.
New Training Program Launch
From 13 May 2026, the institute officially started another new training batch titled:
Production Planning and Supply Chain Management for RMG – Level 4
This program has been launched to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector.
Future Expansion Plans
RSS Technical Institute plans to gradually introduce more new occupational and technical training courses in the future to meet the evolving needs of different industries and sectors.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The institute has already introduced the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) system. Currently:
- Two RPL assessments are conducted every month
- Assessments are supervised under NSDA guidelines
- Skilled individuals can receive formal recognition for their existing experience and competencies
Regular Training Duration
The institute’s regular training batches are:
- 360 hours / 03 months duration
- Assessments are conducted every 03 months
- All assessments are held under the supervision of NSDA
